What we collect
- Account details: phone number (to sign in), an optional email, and a hashed PIN.
- Profile details you choose to add: display name, date of birth, gender, city and country, photos, prompts, interests, intentions and preferences. Religion and other sensitive details are optional.
- Activity: likes, gestures, matches, messages, Vibes, reports and blocks, needed to run the service.
- Device data: device type, app version and a push-notification token.
- Waitlist: your contact, country, optional city and intention, and your consent.
Why we use it
To create and secure your account, show your profile to other members, suggest compatible people, deliver messages and notifications, keep the community safe, and respond to support requests.
What other members can see
Your display name, age, city and country, photos, prompts and the profile details you choose to show. Never your phone number, email, exact location or date of birth.
Location
We use the city and country you enter. We do not show precise location, and we only ask for device location permission if you choose to use it.
Messages, photos and Vibes
Messages are visible only to you and your match. Vibes are visible only to the matches you choose and expire after 24 hours. Content that has been reported may be kept for a limited time so our safety team can review it.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We use service providers (for example hosting, SMS and push notifications) who process data on our behalf. We may disclose information when the law requires it or to protect someone's safety.
Keeping and deleting data
You can delete your account in the app. Your profile is hidden immediately and your data is deleted after a short recovery period, except where we must keep limited records for legal or safety reasons. See account deletion.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to object to some processing. Contact us to make a request.
Security
We use encryption in transit, hashed PINs and restricted staff access with audit logs. No system is perfectly secure, so we also ask you never to share your PIN.
